Our sponsors have donated prizes to give to you for completing a mission. Diver Quest offers you and your dive buddies a chance to each win a prize by diving 6 different sites before September 10, 2008. Its that easy. Just register here, go out and dive 6 sites, send us your completed validation card by Sept 10,2008 and you will be entered into our underwater drawing to be held on Sept. 20. 2008. That's all there is to it.
2. What is the objective of Diver Quest?
Diver Quest promotes the sport and encourages people to dive areas that they might not otherwise visit. In recent years SCUBA diving has been declining and the average number of licensed divers is declining. By adding a fun way to win valuable prizes, we want to bring new divers into the sport, and get experienced divers to try new areas. When six areas are visited and validated, your name will be entered into the drawing.

4: How do I enter the drawing?
Once your validation card is completed, you send it to us by mail. Once we get it and verify it you will be automatically entered into the drawing.
5: Sounds too good, what’s the catch?
There is no catch. We are asking for a sawbuck and its strictly voluntary. Half of that is donated to a charity decided by popular vote upon completion and the other half will help keep us afloat. If you would like to donate more to the beneficiary fund, you can include it at registration, or send it to the beneficiary yourself. But please notify us how much extra you donated so we can add it to the total. We learned a few things from last year. Last year we encouraged all participants to give to The Wounded Warrior Project. We know there were a lot of donations but even The Wounded Warrior Project could not keep track on how much we raised as a result of Diver Quest 2007. By collecting it here and donating once at the end of the contest we'll be able to state exactly how much was raised.

6: What is the difference between a Participant and a Partner?
Diver Quest Partners are certified SCUBA Instructors, Shops, Dive Masters, and other professionals. There is no charge to be a Partner. If your Dive Operator is not a Diver Quest Partner yet, they can still validate your card even before registering here.
7: Where can I go to get my card validated?
You can go anywhere worldwide as long as a Diver Quest Partner is available to stamp/sign your card or you have a proof of visit in the form of a signed receipt or business card. Any commercial dive facility can validate your card without having to register as a Partner. If you have a favorite dive venue that isn’t displaying one of our posters or haven’t heard of Diver Quest yet, spread the word!
8: Can I get my card stamped more than once by the same dive venue on another visit?
As you know, one of our objectives is to get divers to visit new areas so we frown on multiple visits to only one or two sites. Its not hard to hit six sites through the course of a Summer and you’ll be glad you did. There are a lot of interesting places to see and now we are giving you another reason to go.
9: What kind of prizes are there? Is a full list of prizes available?
A list of prizes will be posted on the Website in the near future. Due to the great number of prizes that are being offered the list may not always be up to date. We'll do our best to keep everyone informed. Our sponsors will usually have what they are offering on their sites also.
Of course! All are welcome! We will notify everyone the location later this year. If the response is big enough, we might try to have a live stream of the drawing on this web site. The winners will be drawn by a diver, underwater as promised.
11: I lost my card, what can I do?
We strongly urge you not to lose it. But for this reason, always save your receipts! If your card is partially completed and you lose it, we will have no way of confirming a visit! We will accept receipts but they must be initialed or stamped by a Diver Quest Partner or dive facility.
Yes, a link is provided during registration. Email us if you wish to send a check or Money Order.
13: What if I don’t want or can't use my prize?
Prizes may be exchanged for another prize of equal or lesser value (if available).
